Jewellery Valuation
All jewellery received should be valued same day, normally within 4 hours of receipt. We value and buy Jewellery for a percentage of its precious metal melt value. We will not pay anything for costume jewellery, or gold plated jewellery or non-precious or semi-precious stones.
Payment for Jewellery
You will receive an e-mail (the “Valuation E-mail”) on completion of the Jewellery Valuation. In the e-mail you will have a number of payment options to choose from. Electronic transfer should be the same day unless you accept the Valuation E-mail after 3pm, whereupon it will be the following day. However, if your bank is unable to receive faster payments it will take 3 days to arrive in your account. Over 90% of UK banks now accept faster payments. Cheques and cash will be sent out the same day for arrival 2 days later, or the next day respectively, unless you accept the Valuation E-mail after 3pm whereupon either method is likely to be a day later. Cheques will be sent by regular post, and cash by Royal Mail special delivery.
There will be no scenarios under which the jewellery can be returned after you have accepted our offer.
If you choose to reject the valuation, your Jewellery will be returned to you within 5 days.
